Elizabeth & Kevin's Wedding

On Saturday we spent the day with Elizabeth & Kevin for their wedding at the Holy Infant Church in Orange and their reception at the New Haven Lawn Club. This was out first time going to the Lawn Club and I must say it was really a great place. The room was beautifully decorated and the food (and service) was really great. Here are some of our favorite photos from Elizabeth & Kevin's day.

How adorable is the flower girl! It was quite a challenge to get a shot of her looking but patience prevailed and it was worth it.

I love the look on Elizabeth's father's face as he walked her down the aisle.

Such a fun wedding party!!

I really loved the sky and clouds as we arrived to the New Haven Lawn Club.

Such a nice moment between Elizabeth & Kevin.

Elizabeth & Kevin, we had a great time at your wedding. Thank you for having us be a part of your day and once again congratulations!!

Amy & Steve's Wedding

We had a really busy and incredibly fun weekend. On Friday we photographed Amy & Steve's Wedding which took place at a really great church in Burlington and at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville. Amy & Steve were so much fun to be around and their wedding day was really beautiful. Here are some of the shots from their day.

There was this really cool barn in the backyard at Amy's parent's house. As soon as we arrived at the house to photograph Amy and the girls getting ready I said to Kathleen, I need to photograph something against that barn. It worked out perfect that there was a hook on the barn so I brought the dress outside and did a mini photo-shoot with it.

The barn also worked really nicely for the shoes!!

And for Amy herself... doesn't she look great!

I really liked the church, it was so old and quaint, it made for a really cozy place during the ceremony when a crazy storm rolled in. Thank goodness it cleared up by the end of the ceremony.

Every time that Amy & Steve looked at each other, their faces were filled with nothing but happiness.

Amy & Steve just pronounced as husband and wife.

A quick formal in one of the aisles of the church.

Amy & Steve's dog, Moe joined them at the church following the ceremony all dressed up in his tux. How great is that!!

Thank you Amy & Steve for letting us capture your day. Hope you have a wonderful honeymoon!!

3 Days | 3 Weddings | 3 Teaser Pics!!

Hey Everyone, I know I haven't blogged in a couple of days but that is only because we have been really busy. We photographed 3 weddings in the last 3 days and had a blast at each one of them. Our couples really are the greatest and I can't wait to share photos from each of their wedding days. But for now here is a quick teaser pic from each wedding.

Our first wedding of the weekend was on Friday with Amy & Steve. There ceremony was up in Burlington with their reception at the Aqua Turf Club in Plantsville. Although there was a little (ok a LOT) of rain on the way to and during the ceremony the day turned out beautiful by the time the ceremony was finished. Amy and Steve were so much fun to be around and filled with so much happiness.

On Saturday we spent the day with Elizabeth & Kevin. Their ceremony was in Orange and their reception was at the New Haven Lawn Club. Don't they make such a beautiful couple!

Last but certainly not least we spent today with Melissa & Matthew, who we first photographed for their engagement session in Malibu. Their wedding took place at the beautiful new Riverview in Simsbury. We also went over to the Old Drake Hill Flower Bridge for some fun formals. Melissa & Matthew's Wedding Day was so wonderful and it was simply a pleasure to be there to photograph all the moments that made up their day.

Make sure you check back soon, I am going to have some really fun posts in the next few days including some photos from Kathleen's Bridal Session in Paris and of course photos from each of this weekend's weddings. Hope everyone had a wonderful weekend!!

Elysia & Greg's Wedding

Hey Everyone, we are off to vacation but I wanted to first share with you just a few photos from Elysia & Greg's wedding which we photographed yesterday. Their day was so beautiful and Elysia & Greg are so wonderful to be around. The ceremony was at St. Matthew's Church in Norwalk with the reception following at the Cobb's Mill Inn in Weston.

I will have far more to post after we get back from our trip but here are some of my favorites. I hope you all enjoy!!

I love shoe shots so you can imagine how exicted Kathleen & I were when we saw this poster on the wall. It was the perfect background for Elysia's shoe shot!!

I really like details like this.

Elysia & Greg standing right before they give their vows.

The bridesmaids watching on.

Greg started to tear up during the vows, this was such a nice and emotional moment. He also gasped in excitement the first time he saw Elysia walking down the aisle. So wonderful!

Going in for the first kiss as husband and wife.

A quick moment back in the church after the ceremony.

The wedding party dress colors were really great, we also really liked the shoes.

Elysia & Greg looked at eachother that way all day.

I LOVE tall grass!!

We had to stop traffic for this shot, but I think it is a fun one.

Simply beautiful.

Just for fun!!

This was a challenge to get to this location, we had to do a little minor hiking, Elysia even had to take her shoes off, but they really wanted to take photos down by the waterfall. I didn't even tell them to do this pose, they were just so happy!!

I loved the details on the dress and of the shoes.

Last but not least, the cake. How delicous does it look!!

Thank you Elysia & Greg for having us be such a great part of your day, we had a wonderful time!! We hope you have an amazing time in Antiqua!! We will talk to you when we all get back. Congratulations again!!
